On Manual Soviet Lenses - Briefly

Being more into manual optics I shall say that the experience with soviet lenses is quite interesting. Most of optics have their own IQ and produce soft contrast vintage looking pictures.

Summarizing the benefits (or reasons why keeping the ancient commi lens):

1. It produces nice vintage view;

2.Build (metal solid with good blades);

3.Uniq character and IQ (wich is brilliant for portraits);

4. Concentration on the lesser micro contrast

5. Combination of softness and detail;

6. Price (from 20 to 250$ max);

7. The barrel distortion being the biggest flaw but it's easy correctable.
